These video tutorials are a computer screen recording with narration that will guide you through the different features of the forum. They give a step-by-step visual and audible demonstration of different things. The approximate size of these videos are listed after each link. Simply click the link to watch the tutorial. The tutorials require the Macromedia Flash Player plugin for your browser. If you are not sure that you have it installed, you can test for it here. 1. Registering on the forum. (2MB) If you are new to the forum, start here. This tutorial will show you how to register on the forum to begin your membership.

2. Email digests. (2MB) After your account is activated, you may log into the forum. When you do this you will be immediately given the option of creating an email digest. Email digests are simply an email summary of the discussion that is emailed to you (by default) daily so that you can keep up with the discussion on the forum. This tutorial explains how you can customize the digest to meet your particular needs.

3. Mail2Forum. (1MB) Mail2Forum is somewhat different than the email digests. It was implemented for members who still wanted to be able to read and reply to the other SF members by email. Usually this is most suitable for folks who still use a dial up internet account or who would rather read the forum by email than on the website. The one significant difference to the digests is that Mail2Forum will let you post to the forum. Email Digests only let you read what was posted. 1. Reading the forum. (2MB) Reading the forum is a lot different from the old SF mailing list! Watch this tutorial to learn how to navigate your way around the forum and read the different discussions.

2. Posting new topics and replying to topics. (3MB) This is a very basic tutorial that will show you how to create a new discussion topic and how to reply to an existing discussion on the website.
